On Saturday, August 24 at 1:00 PM, the Sequim Botanical Garden Society invites you to their “Work to Learn” Party Presentation on Plants for Arid Summers with Elaine Webber at the Terrace Garden in Carrie Blake Community Park. This presentation will cover the vast varieties of plants that actually thrive in arid summers, require little water and are easy to grow. It will include information on lavender, sedum, and plants native to Sequim. Elaine will share her experience on how to plan a yard and landscaping that will thrive instead of parish during periods of drought. Look for yellow signs and you will find the parking near the Water Reuse entrance and band shell. Check out the dahlias in bloom too!
